WHY we cry when we get angry? - INDIA

Publicado en 1 Julio 2015

A Hindu holy man was visiting the Ganges river with his disciples when two people he found on the shore shouting angrily. He turned to his disciples and asked, smiling:

- Why do we scream at each other when we get angry?

After thinking a moment, one of the disciples said,

- We cry because we lose calm.

- But, why to yell when the other person is on our side? We could also say that we had to tell the other person without raising his voice ...

The disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the others. Finally the teacher explained:

- When two people are angry, their hearts are far removed. To cover that distance they must shout to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger will have to shout to cover that great distance. So, what happens when two people fall in love? They do not shout but speak softly because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small. When you want even more, what happens? Whispering to be virtually united their hearts. Finally, they do not even need to talk or whisper, just look in the eye and do not need anything more. That is how close two people are when they love fully

Before leaving, the holy man gave them some advice:

- So when you wrangle, do not let your hearts away or tell words can distance yourself more than the other person or will come a day when the distance between you is so great that you can not find the way back.
